About
This is my bookmark collection for tech and computing, alongside my notes and assessments.
Links and Assessments
I save tools, articles, repositories, papers, videos, and documentation that catch my attention. Saving a link doesn’t mean I’ve tested or recommend it.
The radar contains my technology assessments. Each one explains where the technology fits, what I’ve tried, and what remains uncertain. Several links can support one assessment.
Assessment Guide
These are personal assessments, not universal rankings. The labels and quadrants take inspiration from the Thoughtworks Technology Radar. This site is independent and is not affiliated with Thoughtworks.
Adopt Used Successfully
Recommended for a stated kind of work, based on successful use. The assessment includes the limits of that recommendation.
Trial Tested in an Experiment
The review explains what was tried, what happened, and what remains uncertain. A useful experiment does not establish a general recommendation.
Assess Worth Investigating
There is enough context to explain why a technology deserves attention. This ring makes no claim of hands-on validation.
Hold Use with Caution
Reasons to pause or choose another approach for a particular use case, with a review date. It is not a universal rejection of the technology.
Quadrants
Techniques describe ways of working. Tools support that work. Platforms provide foundations on which systems run. Languages and Frameworks shape how software is built.
Reviews
Assessment changes have dates, reasons, and supporting links. A new bookmark does not move a ring. Assess and Trial are usually due for review after 90 days; Adopt and Hold after 180 days. Overdue reviews are labeled without changing the assessment automatically.
Dates and Feeds
Dates are shown in Asia/Manila. “Saved” records the original capture; “published” records the first appearance here; “updated” records an edit. The new-links RSS feed follows first publication, so a correction does not reannounce an old link. A separate assessment feed follows reviews.
Privacy
You can browse links and read notes without JavaScript. Search runs in your browser against this site's published content; it does not send your query to a search service. There are no analytics or advertising scripts.
